Security testing

Find what an attacker would find, before they do.

Hands-on penetration testing for web and mobile applications, APIs, networks and cloud environments. Every finding is verified, explained in plain language and paired with a fix that works in your environment.

What we do

Six types of testing, one clear report.

Automated scanning finds the obvious. Manual testing finds the flaws that lead to real breaches. Open any service to see what it covers.

01 Web application penetration testingAny web application, from customer portals to internal systems.

We test your web applications the way a determined attacker would, focusing on the flaws scanners miss: broken access control between users and roles, business-logic abuse and chained weaknesses.

TYPICALLY INCLUDES
  • Authentication and session handling
  • Access control between users and roles
  • Injection and input handling
  • Business logic and payment flows

You receive: a report with verified findings, evidence and fixes, aligned to OWASP WSTG.

02 Mobile app security testing (Android & iOS)The app on the device and the services behind it.

We assess how your mobile apps store data, communicate and resist tampering, and test the back-end APIs they depend on, where many of the most serious issues are found.

TYPICALLY INCLUDES
  • Local data storage and secrets
  • Network communication and certificate pinning
  • Reverse engineering and tampering resistance
  • Back-end API testing

You receive: a report covering the app and its back end, aligned to OWASP MASTG.

03 API security testingREST and GraphQL endpoints your apps and partners use.

APIs expose your data and business logic directly. We test every agreed endpoint for authorisation flaws, data exposure and abuse that could let one customer reach another’s data.

TYPICALLY INCLUDES
  • Object- and function-level authorisation
  • Token and key handling
  • Excessive data exposure
  • Rate limiting and abuse

You receive: a report mapped to the OWASP API Security Top 10.

04 External & internal network VAPTYour internet-facing footprint and what lies behind it.

We combine vulnerability assessment with hands-on exploitation to show what an outside attacker could reach, and what someone already inside your network could do next.

TYPICALLY INCLUDES
  • External attack surface discovery
  • Exposed services and misconfigurations
  • Active Directory and privilege escalation
  • Lateral movement paths

You receive: a report ranking issues by real-world risk, with an attack path summary.

05 Cloud security reviewConfiguration weaknesses across your cloud accounts.

We review identity, storage, network and logging configuration in your cloud environments to find the exposures attackers look for first.

TYPICALLY INCLUDES
  • Identity and access configuration
  • Storage and data exposure
  • Network controls and public endpoints
  • Logging and monitoring coverage

You receive: a prioritised findings report with configuration fixes.

06 Retesting & remediation validationConfirmation that the issues are really fixed.

Once your team has applied fixes, we retest each finding to confirm it is closed and that the fix has not introduced new problems. Retesting is scoped in your proposal, either included in the engagement or as a separate follow-up.

TYPICALLY INCLUDES
  • Retest of every agreed finding
  • Verification of the fix, not just the symptom
  • Check for regressions
  • Updated status for each issue

You receive: an updated report showing which issues are closed.

How it works

A controlled engagement, agreed in writing before any testing starts.

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree targets, test accounts, testing windows and contacts, and sign an NDA. You get a written proposal with a fixed scope and timeline.

  2. 02

    Authorise

Written authorisation and rules of engagement are signed before testing begins, so everyone knows exactly what is in and out of scope.

  3. 03

    Test

Manual testing supported by tooling, within the agreed windows. Anything critical is reported to you as soon as it is confirmed.

  4. 04

    Report & follow-up

A clear report and a walkthrough of the findings. Where retesting is part of your agreement, we retest to confirm the issues are closed.

What you receive

A report your leadership can read and your engineers can act on.

Reports are delivered encrypted, with the password shared separately. A sample report is available on request under NDA.

Executive summary

Overall risk, the issues that matter most and what to prioritise, in business terms.

Technical findings

Each issue with a severity rating, affected assets, evidence, steps to reproduce and specific remediation guidance.

Findings walkthrough

A call with your team to go through the results, answer questions and agree fixes.

Retesting (where agreed)

Verification of your fixes within the agreed window, with an updated report showing which issues are closed.

Questions

Penetration testing FAQs

What is the difference between a vulnerability assessment and a penetration test?

A vulnerability assessment identifies and rates known weaknesses across your systems, largely with scanning tools. A penetration test goes further: a tester manually tries to exploit weaknesses, chain them together and show what an attacker could actually achieve. VAPT combines both, giving you breadth and depth.

How often should we have a penetration test?

At least once a year, and after significant changes such as a new application, a major release or an infrastructure move. Some standards set this as a requirement: PCI DSS, for example, requires penetration testing at least every 12 months and after significant changes.

Will testing disrupt our systems?

Testing is planned to avoid disruption. We agree testing windows in advance, avoid destructive techniques unless you approve them, and keep a named contact on both sides throughout so testing can be paused immediately if needed.

Should you test production or a staging environment?

Either can work. Staging is lower risk if it closely matches production; production gives the most accurate picture. We will recommend an approach during scoping based on your environment.

How long does a penetration test take, and how is it priced?

Both depend on scope: the number of applications and user roles, API endpoints, IP addresses or cloud accounts, and whether testing is authenticated. After a scoping call, you receive a written proposal with a fixed scope, timeline and price.

Do you help fix the issues you find?

Yes. Our team also designs and hardens security controls, so remediation guidance is practical, and we can help implement fixes if you want support.

How do you handle our data and confidentiality?

We sign an NDA before scoping, handle only the data the test needs, and deliver reports encrypted with the password shared separately.
